Hello my name is Ryan Eastman , I’m a cartoonist and illustrator living in Toronto, Canada. MistyGish is when I draw myself as a cartoon, in case anyone was worried, that’s the whole story. Just a perpetual strange and sad lil’ guy, no biggie.

My illustration focuses on lines and colour. I tune concepts, designs and emotions into a strange life with all the saturation of a 90s Anime. My personal work tends be humorous with macabre tones. I love to blend sweet and sour, my drawings lend themselves anywhere you need a grimace or a smile.

I primarily work in Procreate but am capable on most digital drawing platforms. I draw non-digitally in mixed mediums: graphite, pencil crayons, markers, water colours and pens; if it fits in a pencil case I will have some knowledge of it. I have been praised for my clarity, speed and drafting ability. From concept to full design I am fast and love to communicate with a team or client.

I also have a BFA in Media Arts from OCAD University with a minor in Creative Writing, I am familiar with video production, editing, sales, and writing , I’ve even done voice over! I love to help create potential.
